I’ve been trying and trying to swap and rebuild my laptops over the past week.  I am having a great deal of trouble getting the faster of the two laptops, a Dell Latitude C610 (1.2GHz, 1GB, 100GB HDD) configured correctly.  Its usually my copy of Norton Internet Security that craps everything out.  When Live Update won’t update components, the best way to fix things is to reformat the hard drive and start all over.

I’ve redone this about 6 times this week.  I’m on attempt number 7.  Hopefully this will be it…
